Overview: This song was written around 1910 by my great great grandmother for my grandmother (Daisy Perl Robinson) who was only about 5 or 6 years old at the time. The reason it was written for my grandmother was because her mother was sick and was about to die. My great great grandmother wrote this song and sang it to my grandmother for comfort as a child. The lyrics were preserved, but the melody was not. I found the lyrics in a historical book my mother had written about her ancestors. The melody that I was to use for this song came to me quickly. It seemed to fit perfectly, although I have no idea what the original melody was. This song does not contain the same type of affirmation statements as other songs, yet it has a beauty of its own with words from the early 1900’s and a sincere heartfelt energy of love. Use it for grieving the loss of someone you care for.
For maximum effectiveness, listen as frequently as you are able. The music creates the emotions and the words create the direction for those emotions. A new energy and belief is planted into your subconscious. Allow the song to get ‘stuck in your head’. That’s a good thing. That means its working. Repetition is key. Over time, you will notice differences. You will see yourself take NEW and DIFFERENT actions than the ones you’ve taken before. You will notice your ability to transform and change for the better to be easier. You may notice synchronicities and amazing coincidences. Every person’s journey is different and unique. It is powerful. When you hear the words, consciously accept and internalize them, if you agree with the words of the song.
Recommended Listening Schedule: Start with 10x day for 2-3 weeks.
Tip 1: Add it to a playlist on your Ipod or Itunes & have it loop the song. That way you can be listening while doing your regular tasks.
Tip 2: Listen to your playlist of Musical Manifestation Songs while meditating, exercising, doing household work and at whatever other times are appropriate for you.
Full Lyrics: Think of these words as affirmation statements. Do you agree with them? Do you want them to be a part of your belief system? This music can help to transfer these beliefs into your subconscious, bypassing barriers we may have in place to prevent them from taking hold.
When I was but a little child, how well I recollect
How I would grieve my mother, with my folly and neglect
And now that she has gone to heaven, I miss her tender care
O, angels, tell my mother I’ll be there
Chorus
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
In answer to her prayer,
This message, guardian angels, to her bear,
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
Heaven’s joy with her to share
And I’ll show how much I care
Yes, Angels, tell my darling mother I’ll be there.
Tho’ I was often wayward, she was always kind and good,
So patient, gentle, loving, just as a mother should,
My childhood griefs and trials she would gladly with me share
O, angels, tell my mother I’ll be there..
Chorus
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
In answer to her prayer,
This message, guardian angels, to her bear,
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
Heaven’s joy with her to share
And I’ll show how much I care
Yes, Angels, tell my darling mother I’ll be there.
When I became a prodigal and left the old roof tree,
She almost broke her loving heart in mourning after me,
And day and night, she prayed to God to keep me in His care,
O angels, tell my mother I’ll be there.
Chorus
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
In answer to her prayer,
This message, guardian angels, to her bear,
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
Heaven’s joy with her to share
And I’ll show how much I care
Yes, Angels, tell my darling mother I’ll be there.
One day a message came to me; it made me quickly see,
My mother weak & weary, with the Savior soon would be,
I promised her, before she died, for heaven to prepare
O angels, tell my mother I’ll be there,
Chorus
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
In answer to her prayer,
This message, guardian angels, to her bear,
Tell Mother I’ll be there,
Heaven’s joy with her to share
And I’ll show how much I care
Yes, Angels, tell my darling mother I’ll be there.
